This is one particular album I am excited about, the anticipated release date is June 1. For those of you that are unfamiliar with Born Ruffians and signature tracks like Hummingbird or Badonkadonkey doesn’t ring a bell – they are a Canadian band from Midland Ontario. They’ve had a break since their release of the up-beat, tight and refreshingly simple Red, Yellow and Blue EP in 2008.
The new record Say It is going to sound similar to their first EP with a more mature sound. They wanted to achieve something cleaner and more straightforward hence the decision to record this in one of the biggest studios in Canada with Rusty Santos (Animal Collective and Grizzly Bear).
